Media-Anschlussmodul-Basis (1C31206) – Diese Basis fasst maximal zwei Module und bietet einen Anschluss für das AUI-Kabel, das PCRR und Anschlussmodul verbindet. Die Rückwandplatine versorgt die Anschlussmodule mit +24 V und dient gleichzeitig als lokaler E/A-Bus-Abschluss.
Daher sind am Ende von Zweigen, an denen Media Attachment Unit-Module platziert werden, keine E/A-Zweigabschlussplatinen erforderlich.
